Which one are you?

During a visit to the mental asylum, a visitor asked the director,
"What is the criterion that defines a patient to be institutionalized?"

"Well..." said the director, "we fill up a bathtub, and we offer a
teaspoon, a teacup, and a bucket to the patient and ask him to empty
the bathtub."

"Oh, I understand," said the visitor, with a chuckle. "A normal
person would choose the bucket as it is larger than the spoon or the
teacup. Right?"

"Noooooooo!" answered the director. "A normal person would pull the
plug."

*nudge nudge* Which were you thinking? I thought bucket, but I do know people who thought spoon; so they could scoop out as much as possible when the water got too low!

I would have said bucket. When sombody tells you to empty it but to use certain items yo imediatly come to te conclusion that you have to pick from those items. I would have though about the plug, but I wouldn't have pulled it because I'd think that the. Wantedme to use an item.
