Avoid these for guinea-pigs!

Guinea-pig harnesses and leads should never be used on guinea-pigs because they can be dangerous for guinea-pigs.


Hamster Balls are often advertised as suitable for guinea-pigs but they aren't - they can seriously damage guinea-pigs backs because of the position a guinea-pig has to stand in to use one.


Hamster wheels are also often advertised as suitable for guinea-pigs, but they can also damage guinea-pigs backs and should not be used with guinea-pigs.


To exercise guinea-pigs please use a run or enclosed area not any of the above because these can be dangerous for them.
