1/2 wild Orphan baby Mice!
These guys have lost their mother and are only 2 weeks old. They are 1/2 wild so will have issues that will make re-homing difficult. I've been feeding them every 2-3 hours. (not getting a lot of sleep!) Their previous owners wanted to try and eat one of them.
So I now have 6 orphan mice...they have survived the last 2 nights without their mother and now that their eyes are open they should be okay..but keep your fingers crossed for them that they will continue to do well. And that I will make an okay mother mouse.

Aww they are so cute! You are such a nice person to look after them. How could anyone want to eat anything that cute? I hope they continue to thrive

Thanks!
All babies are still doing well although they are 1/2 MAD and think they are invincible. Here are some pics I took last night:

Aww they are sweet, when they are old enough are you going to rehome them? And how old do they have to be when you can rehome them?

Re: 1/2 wild Orphan baby Mice!
They will be weaned by 4 1/2 weeks as that is when I have to separate males from females to avoid my babies having babies...if any go to new homes then they will leave at 6 weeks so that I can fatten them up before leaving. Because they are part wild they will always have social issues, they will freak out in new environments and require a lot of space to climb and race around and be crazy. If I can find people who I trust to care for them properly and who understand that they won't like to be handled often then I will re-home some. Nobody has showed any interest in taking them so I think they will all stay with me now.
