Volunteering at a rescue I've wanted to do it for years but I've never actually done it but I've found a rescue that is literally 5 minutes away from me so I thought I'd try it. I emailed them just now I can't wait

Woo hoo! I wish our SPCA were closer to me, so I could volunteer there. It's as least 45 minutes to an hour away from where I live. Good luck!

I am basically the go-to person in Taranaki for the New Zealand Rat Rescue now anyway.

Thank you I got an email back and they said the rescue has closed But I found another rescue not too far away so I'm going to phone them later
