This place is too quiet!

I know!!

I'm really regretting putting that bell on my cats collar now. It's nearly 3am and he's sitting next to me moving his head around to make the bell ring

*moans*

I was up all night with a horrible ear-ache; never had one like it before! Mum says it sounds the same as when her ear drum burst, except I didn't get the sharp "pop" and stuff trickling out.

Pains gone, now, but my ear echoes, and I can't hear with it. And I can feel the pressure in there. It's weird hearing everything repeated inside my head; it's like an inner voice, making sure I hear everything!

Oh no I hope you feel better soon!

The forum's gone very quiet again, I feel lonely

*sigh* three vet trips in one week; all for the same animal. Stupid vet. Here's hoping this antibiotic does the trick!

My rabbit Willoughby; he has an ear infection. Seems a bit better now he's on oral abs.

I got a HUGE cage for the ratties, and had great fun setting it all up! Got to see a friend who I don't see very often and her and someone else came over for a rat meet. My friend brought me the best peanut butter EVER and made me snickerdoodles!!! And we got to play with all my baby ratties. It was awesome.

Speaking of which...I know you're a *bit* busy, but I wouldn't mind some piccies of my wee boy; Pwetty Please with a cherry on top. =D

Oh I completely forgot!! YES of course!

I took my rat Shiloh for a stroll down the road with me; I think he enjoyed sniffing new smells, but he wanted to stay out of sight, so I got a few weird looks from people about my hand down my lumpy jacket, whilst apparently talking to myself in a baby voice. :p The guy who actually noticed the rat tail hanging out may have twigged, but I don't think it improved his opinion of me.

WHY have I had such bad luck lately?! In the last 6 weeks I spent *drumroll* $3,000 at the vets!!!! And just when I thought things were finally coming to an end my already sick rat Lilly who has been having surgery complications from being spayed had a nasty fall. She knocked a tooth out that got lodged into her cheek and was surgically removed and she also broke her jaw in two separate places.

Who here wants to swap vet bills?!

Oh no poor Lilly! I hope she feels better soon and I hope your luck changes soon too!

Haha, I don't think it'll make tooooooo much difference if we swopped vet bills; well, ok, maybe a bit, but still!

Oh, great, what happened to my get-fit plan? I need to work up some muscle before summer! I hate people staring at my bony knees and elbows. :-/

This week's been terrible, one way or another. Can it please not get any worse?

On the plus side, it's not all bad. I'm doing a raku firing on Saturday, which will be awesome! Really looking forward to that.

Well, so much for having a shower. :p I'm now busy looking up my books on poisoning, and googling and having a great time reading about arsenic symptoms.

Slightly wrong, when it's someone's rat I know who could have had a few too many apple seeds. I shouldn't really be enjoying this?

Debs mentioned arsenic, so that was what I started looking up, before remembering that it was apple seeds she had eaten. :p


Just come back from the raku firing; it was awesome! Hopefully I'll have some lovely pics to share soon. =D Got some really lovely results, so quite happy with that.
