Any suggestion?
Okay, Millie and Kloie run around there cage and alot of the bedding comes flying out. Does anyone have any ideas on how to keep the bedding from flying out because every second I have to clean up bedding and I'm getting sick of it.

Re: Any suggestion?
Do you use woodshavings? Have you tried any of the other beddings like fleece or vetbed? Because they are sort of like a carpet, nothing comes out the cage when the guinea-pigs run around. I used vetbed for a while in the winter but I don't use it in the Summer as I find it gets to hot for them outside, but if your guinea-pigs live inside then I don't think this would be a problem. Vetbed can be expensive when it is first bought (mine was about £30 I think) but it lasts for years and compared to the money spent on disposable bedding like woodshavings the price is quite good I think. I'll try and find a photo of my guinea-pigs vetbed.
I know how you feel about them kicking the bedding around though, this morning I opened Roy's hutch door to give him his morning vegetables and he was flicking the bedding around with his nose, strange piggy

Re: Any suggestion?
I found some vetbed photos.
Billy with the vetbed in his hutch:
And here's a vetbed photo I got off google:
If you wanted to use fleece you can just use normal polyester fleece blankets but they need washing 3 times first without softener to wick away the pee. I never used fleece but there seems to be a very divided opinion about both fleece and vetbed, some people love them and some don't.
If you wanted to use woodshavings or carry on using the bedding your using, is there anyway you could extend the sides a bit or add a solid piece of something down the sides so it will just hit the sides and go back into the cage when they kick it?

Re: Any suggestion?
Vetbed actually seems very appealing, but honestly I'v never heard of it. Would it be at petco or petsmart?

I think so, but it would be in the dog section. You can also get brand new vetbed on ebay which is often a bit cheaper.

Thank you. How often do they have to be washed?

Re: Any suggestion?
They need to be sweeped off daily (so just brushing poos off) this only takes about 5 minutes. They need changing once a week and they are made to dry quickly.

Thank you! It looks like your piggies are poop machines too. I'm actually using fleece, but thank you!
